Theresa Schultz, a devoted community organizer and nonprofit fundraiser, has been instrumental in enriching the Arlington Heights community for over a decade.
Starting her journey in youth activism, Theresa served as Chicagoland’s Chief Community Coordinator for a national youth running program. Over six years, she successfully connected more than 1,000 youths and their families with local businesses for race days, promoting healthy lifestyles among young residents.
Theresa received her IESA Coaching Certificate in 2023 and is currently coaching Track & Field at Cooper Middle School in Buffalo Grove.
In 2024, building on her extensive experience, Theresa founded Cardio Kidz. This nonprofit organization fosters inclusivity and community spirit by providing athletic opportunities for youths of all abilities, focusing on engagement, self-confidence and sportsmanship.
Additionally, as an active board member of the Arlington Heights Parks Foundation, Theresa leads initiatives to enhance local parks and community programs. Her efforts include spearheading a campaign to fund an all-inclusive playground tailored for the disabled community.
Theresa also contributes as a founding board member and Secretary of the Chicagoland Hearts for Hope organization, where she organizes donations and care packages for the homeless.
Celebrated for her dedication to youth and community improvement, Theresa’s passion is the driving force behind her ongoing projects and the success of Cardio Kidz.
